The annual St. Louis St. Patrick’s Day Parade was this past month and the Popticals team was there riding in our RZR! Before we get into all that, a huge thank you to St. Louis Powersports for having us in their section of the parade!
We started the day with the crew from St. Louis Powersports in the float staging area. A large medieval castle with 2 levels on a trailer was buzzing with kids playing and adults setting up. Music played, drinks were poured, and there was a festive excitement throughout the entire morning. We dressed our Popticals RZR in some St. Patty’s decoration. There were also a few motorcycles, Polaris vehicles, and a three-wheeled motorcycle that were also decked out and ready to ride. At around noon, the caravan of green moved onto the street and waiting until the parade began.
For an overcast day spotted with constant drizzling and light rain, the parade still had a great turnout. For the next hour and a half, we rolled through downtown St. Louis surrounded by a damp but energetic crowd. The riders from St. Louis Powersports zipped up around us on ATVs, motorcycles and dirt bikes throwing out beads and getting cheers. Even though there was plenty of green in the procession, the Popticals RZR seemed to stand out and be a crowd favorite.
Even though it was a cloudy day, we brought a few pairs of Popticals sunglasses to show to parade-goers. People loved the compact nature of our shades, and could see the advantage of having sunglasses that could easily and safely be carried around.
We look forward to dressing in our St. Patrick’s Day best and seeing everyone again next year! Take a look at more photos from the event in the gallery below.
