The Popticals team loaded our customized “tricked-out” Jeep Wrangler and headed to Salt Lake City for the ultimate outdoors lovers’ event, Summer Outdoor Retailer. This trade show is the premiere destination to demo and debut the best and most innovate equipment for sports enthusiasts – that’s exactly why we set out to make a splash for Popticals, the world’s first brand of pop-out sunglasses.
Our bright green Jeep complete with a Hemi and huge video wall with custom animations dominated our section of the New Products Pavilion at Outdoor Retailer. Attendees, retailers and media were even more impressed as we demonstrated the exclusive Popticals FL2 Micro-Rail system that allows our sunglasses to transform from full-size, wrap-around glasses to a compact, palm-sized, concealable shape. Popticals sleek design and high-quality Italian manufacturing with polarized Zeiss lenses wowed hikers, fly fishers, kayakers, mountain bikers, and trail runners — basically anyone who appreciates saving space while on the go.
For four days, we met one-on-one with retailers from across the country, large and small. We met with media that cover gear and outdoor sports. We spoke with product developers and innovators from other industries and were energized with the response we received from our peers and future partners. The future is looking bright, good thing we’ve got our shades.
